Terms of use

These terms govern your use of BuySlip, provided by Codeferns. By using BuySlip, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions can be sent to support@buyslip.com.

What BuySlip does

BuySlip helps you save receipts, organize purchases and view available return and warranty information. It is a personal recordkeeping service. It does not sell insurance, extend a warranty, guarantee a return, submit a claim or act for a merchant, manufacturer or card issuer.

The current service is free. BuySlip does not currently charge subscriptions or connect to your bank or retailer accounts. If paid features are introduced, their prices and conditions will be presented before you choose to purchase them.

Your account

Provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials and receipt email address private. Anyone who knows that receipt address may send documents into your account. You are responsible for activity you authorize and for notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must be able to agree to these terms under the laws that apply to you. BuySlip is not intended for children under 13; additional local age or permission requirements may apply.

Your receipts and other content

You retain ownership of the content you provide. You give Codeferns permission to host, copy, process and display that content to operate BuySlip for you, as described in our Privacy policy.

Only upload or forward content you are entitled to provide. Do not use BuySlip to store unlawful content, infringe another person's rights, distribute malicious software, access another account, or interfere with the service. Avoid sending passwords, security codes or unnecessary sensitive information.

Check important details

Automated and AI-generated results may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Review important purchase details against the original receipt and the current terms of the relevant merchant, manufacturer or card issuer. You can correct saved information.

A displayed deadline or period does not establish eligibility. Return and warranty conditions may depend on product condition, purchase location, exclusions, proof of purchase and other facts BuySlip cannot verify. Reference coverage is limited and is not a complete catalogue of every merchant, product or card benefit.

Reminders depend on supported dates, notification permission, device settings and delivery services. They may be delayed or unavailable. Keep your own record of important deadlines and contact the relevant provider directly when taking action.

BuySlip does not provide legal, financial or insurance advice and does not replace the terms or rights that apply to your purchase.

Availability and changes

We may improve or change the service, and it may occasionally be unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted access or indefinite storage. Keep independent copies of important records.

We may restrict misuse or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law or address a breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a way to contact us. These terms do not limit rights or remedies that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Exporting and leaving

You can export your purchase records and originals from Account. Archiving a purchase is not deletion. Account deletion is initiated in the app and removes your account and saved purchase records once processed. Uploaded receipt files remain in private storage and are no longer accessible through the app; see our Privacy policy and Support page for the process and the treatment of retained receipt files and other copies.

Third-party services and intellectual property

BuySlip may link to external sites and use authentication, hosting, email, AI and notification providers. Those providers may have their own terms. A reference to a merchant, product or card issuer does not imply endorsement or a partnership.

BuySlip's software, design and branding belong to Codeferns or its licensors. These terms grant permission to use the service, not ownership of that material. Your own content remains yours.

Responsibility and applicable rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BuySlip is provided as available without guarantees that extracted information, policy references or reminders will meet every need. We are not responsible for a merchant's or other provider's decision about a return, refund, claim or warranty.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded. Mandatory rights under the laws that apply to you continue to apply.

Updates and contact

We may update these terms from time to time and will show the effective date here. Continuing to use BuySlip after an update takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
